Arkadiusz Bogusz – Manager of PKO Funds – was handed the “Golden Portfolio 2008” Award by the editors of Parkiet, a Warsaw Stock Exchange newspaper. He received the award in the “Best Domestic Debt Securities Fund Manager” category in recognition of the investment performance of PKO Long-Term Bond Open-end Investment Fund in 2008. The Fund was the best on the market in its category, generating the return of 21.46%.
PKO Equity Small Cap and Mid Cap Open-end Fund was voted the best Polish equity fund in 2007 in the ranking published by Wprost, a major Polish weekly magazine. Within 12 months, the Fund generated a rate of return of 102.46% and is thus a record-breaker among other equity funds on the Polish market (figures as at 28 September 2007). For many months the Fund remained at the top of rankings published by financial newspapers.
Tomasz Adamus – Manager of PKO Funds – was handed the “Golden Portfolio 2007” Award by the editors of Parkiet, a Warsaw Stock Exchange newspaper, for the second consecutive time. He received the award in the “Best Small Cap and Mid Cap Equity Fund Manager” category in recognition of the investment performance of PKO Equity Small Cap and Mid Cap Open-end Investment Fund in 2007. The Fund was the best on the market in its category, generating a return of 37.94%.
PARKIET’s Golden Portfolio 2006 was awarded to Tomasz Adamus, Manager of PKO Equity New Europe Open-end Investment Fund, in recognition of the fund’s previous year’s investment performance. With a return of 17.14%, it was the best among foreign equity funds on the market.
Aleksander Kwaśniewski, President of the Republic of Poland, acknowledged PKO TFI SA’s support for the government program entitled “Internet in Schools – Presidential Project” and presented the President of the company’s Management Board with the Platinum Sponsor Statuette 2004. The President’s initiative was a nationwide action promoting new technologies among students of Polish schools and universities.
PKO TFI was recognized by Rzeczpospolita, a major Polish daily, as the Best Financial Institution in 2002 in the Investment Fund Companies category. The award reflects the good financial condition of the company, high asset growth dynamics and excellent investment performance.
The PKO Bond Fund was awarded the Golden Coin statuette in the Investment Product of the Year 2001 category. In 2001, the Bond Fund generated a return of 21.17%.
The statuette was awarded by a committee comprising, among others, Jacek Bartkiewicz, Deputy Minister of Finance, Jacek Socha, President of the Warsaw Stock Exchange, Andrzej Topiński, President of the Polish Bank Association, Piotr Dziewulski, President of the Investments Fund Companies Association, Janusz Lewandowski, a Civic Platform and Parliament Member, Krzysztof Lutostański, President of the Economic Chamber of Pension Societies, and Jerzy Wysocki, President of the Polish Insurance Chamber.
In 2002 the Company received the prestigious Bull and Bear Statuette in the category for the Best Investment Fund Company 2001 awarded by PARKIET, the Warsaw Stock Exchange newspaper.
The Company was recognized as the Best Investment Fund Company based on its excellent performance in the following areas:
