The PKO Balanced Plus investment portfolio is distributed among relatively safe financial instruments, such as treasury bills and bonds and blue chip equities traded on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, which, though bearing a higher risk of periodic fluctuations, enhance the subfund’s potential for satisfactory investment performance. Due to the equity component of the fund’s portfolio, one should take into account the possibility of considerable investment value fluctuations in the short term. Therefore, the fund should be seen as a medium- to long-term investment.

Investor profile

The subfund is directed at customers who:

  • accept an elevated level of risk and dynamic fluctuations of the participation unit value;
  • seek regular savings, even in small amounts, to finance their future expenses (children’s education, additional retirement benefits, housing needs);
  • expect a higher growth of their investment in the longer-term.
