Graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Automation and Executive MBA postgraduate management studies. From 2017 to 2020 a Visiting Fellow at Oxford University and Academic Visitor at St Antony’s College.

He has nearly 30 years of professional experience. Polish entrepreneur, investor and strategic advisor. Since the beginning of his career he has been involved in the modern digital technology industry. Experienced both as a CEO of private companies and as a senior civil servant in the central administration. Since 2012 Minister of Digitalisation of the Economic Shadow Cabinet of the Business Centre Club (BCC). In 2015, he was awarded the prestigious title of "Man of the Year of the ICT Industry" by the editors of Burda-Media / CRN. In 2017, he was among the 100 most influential people of the innovation area in Central and Eastern Europe (New Europe 100 list). From 2017 to 2019 member of the United Nations Secretary-General's Advisory Group (MAG). From 2018 to 2020 Senior Advisor of Brussels-based FIPRA International (Digital & Tech Practice). In 2019, he was awarded the title of Honorary Ambassador of the Polish Economy. From 2018 to 2022 Member of the Council of the National Centre for Research and Development, representing socio-economic and financial circles. Since 2022 Member of the UN High-Level Leadership Panel on Digital Cooperation (IGF). From 2020 to 2022 President of the Management Board of the co-investment VC fund NIF ASI S.A. Knight of the Order of Rebirth of Poland. 

Appointed as Vice President of the Management Board of PKO TFI as of 17 October 2022. 

Within PKO TFI, he focuses on the areas of innovation, digitisation and process efficiency, as well as strategic directions of digital development, with particular focus on financial services (FinTech) and regulation of the digital area in financial institutions (FinReg).
