Jolanta Górska holds a PhD in economics awarded by the Institute of Finance at the Academy of Finance in Warsaw. She graduated from the Higher School of Insurance and Banking in Warsaw in the major of Finance and Banking. She also completed postgraduate studies at the Academy of Finance in Warsaw in the field of research methodology in economic sciences, at the Warsaw University of Technology in real estate valuation and at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences in finance and banking. She holds an EFCB 3E European Banker Certificate. She holds professional qualifications of a property appraiser and is qualified to perform valuations for the purpose of securing bank receivables, and holds a certificate confirming qualifications for enterprise valuation. She also completed numerous training courses in, among others, enterprise valuation, fair value valuation, real estate and property rights valuation for tax and fiscal purposes, valuation for bank receivables security and many others. She is a court appointed expert on real estate valuation at the Regional Court for Warsaw Praga. In 2006–2007, she was a lecturer at master’s degree courses in public finance, local finance and tax systems.
She gained her professional experience working, among others, in managerial positions at the Agricultural Property Agency, Totalizator Sportowy Sp. z o.o. and running her own business as a property appraiser. In addition, in 2017 she was a member of the Council for Companies with State Treasury and State Legal Persons Shareholding and since March 2020 she has been a member of the Supervisory Board of JSW S.A.
