Deputy Director/Portfolio
On 1 December 2022, Krzysztof Madej joined the investment team at PKO TFI in the role of Deputy Director of the Asset Management Department.
Krzysztof is a graduate of the Higher School of International Commerce and Finance in Warsaw (BA honours degree in International Finance) and the SGH Warsaw School of Economics (MA degree in Finance and Banking).
He completed doctoral studies at the Institute of Economic Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He also successfully finished the Global Finance programme run by MUCIA Global and the New York Institute of Finance. Krzysztof has over 20 years of experience in financial markets, acquired working at key financial institutions in the country. He started his career as an interest rate trader in the interbank market. In the following years, he was responsible for int. al. management of the debt part of a pension fund (which achieved the best rate of return of all open-end investment funds over a 10-year period), supervision of teams and management of debt and global macro investment funds, including total return funds. In the last 5 years, he served as Chief Executive Officer (CEO)and Chief Investment Officer (CIO) at Mount TFI, where he gained extensive experience in the field of non-public assets (private debt and real estate) and regulatory issues.
